The White Mountains are a mecca for rock climbing. They offer day trips to back-country adventures from road side crags and multi-pitch routes, to alpine climbing on Mount Washington.

We offer professional instruction and guided rock climbing trips in the White Mountains from May through October.

Popular locations for rock climbing include:

Cathedral Ledge - located just outside of North Conway, it provides single and multi-pitch rock climbing on routes such as: Thin Air, Recompense, Diedre, the Book of Solemnity, Funhouse, Standard Route, and many others.

Whitehorse Ledge - located just outside of North Conway, it provides single and multi-pitch rock climbing on routes such as: Standard Route, Sliding Board, Hotter than Hell, Ethereal Crack, and many others.

Franconia Notch - located on RT 93 near Lincoln, Franconia includes a large amount of rock - Cannon Cliff (Whitney-Gilman Ridge, Moby Grape, Lakeview, VMC Direct, etc.), Echo Crag, Eagle Cliff, and more.

Kancamagus Highway - many areas such as; Sundown, Painted Walls, and more.

Mount Washington - backcountry, alpine-style routes consisting of long approaches and descents, as well as involved climbing in Huntington's Ravine (Pinnacle Buttress, Mechanic's Route, Central Gully etc.).

Rumney - this famous sport climbing area offers many great single and multi-pitch sport and traditional climbing routes.
