Basic Rock Climbing Skills

This is for anybody who wants to learn how to rock climb. If you have little or no climbing experience, or are a gym climber looking to learn what outdoor rock climbing is like, this is for you.

We will cover all the common skills climbers need to know - in detail.

    • Equipment - it's proper usage and care
    • Commands
    • Safety checks
    • Knots
    • Climbing techniques
    • Belaying skills
    • Rappelling
    • and provide you with as much time as possible on the rock       practicing the skills and having fun rock climbing.

Basic rock climbing skills are offered daily upon reservation. We supply all the necessary technical climbing equipment needed - please check out the Gear List specific for the day for what is actually supplied and what you'll be required to bring.
